She

Dear all good friends and readers,

what a beautiful Autumn feeling this time in Germany. Perfect for me to sleep the whole day actually, lol. I really have to push myself not to get too lazy so I would like to join the challenge that CSI (Color Stories Inspiration) made for this week challenge with the mood board below
and the challenge from Off The Rails Scrapbooking with the mood board below

This challenges have a very interesting mix of colors, beautiful challenges which I thought at first weren't that difficult, but at the end was quite difficult indeed.
So here's my layout to that....
I thought since I have a lot of buttons, I used them and pretended that they are my daughter's head or should said her kinda brain like. And inside her head are creative, love, logic, realistic and passion. I used some plastic to write them down so you still could see the buttons.
More details below...
The story behind the layout was that the last two years, after my father passed away, things have been difficult for the rest of us. I could only say my family become separated because of one person decided to be in the dark and running away from what supposed to be faced by her.
With this layout I've put creative, love, passion, realistic and logic in her head are simply to show her that so much in live she could get and be happy with them but in the other hand, she should also be brave to explore the darkness around her.
I took the sentiments from Right Brain Planner that said "Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. … Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light. -BrenĂ© Brown" to match the layout and wrote it around the head.
I did a few layers of Gesso and Heavy Gel Medium to hold all the buttons to the paper.
I colored them with Shimmer Cosmic H2O - Orange Gold, Scarlet Sunset, Yellow Sun, Persian Sea and Summer Grass. For coloring the transparents I used Liquid Pearl from Ranger - Buttercup, Baby Blue, Mint Green, Cantaloupe and Rouge.
At the end I made the black tone with 6B Pencil around the head to simply create a shadow.

Thank you CSI (Color Stories Inspiration) for the challenge.
I hope you enjoyed my layout and have a great day to you all...

Hugs,

Merry
