Baby Girl

Dear beautiful readers,
how are you this time? Well, can't believe May is here. First thing first, food for thoughts for us is,"Don't let a bad day make you feel like you have a bad life." And here's the new challenge from 123 Challenge Blog May Challenge
And here's my layout...
To be honest, this one quite challenging for me as I wasn't really fit while doing it and banners haven't always be my thing. I'm not really good with it. So somehow, I did a lot of browsing in pinterest and found this layout HERE. WOW! She's really blowed up my mind with her page. So I thought I did the same except my way, which is mix media way :)
To start with, I did lots of gesso, glued papers from old books (after I teared them into pieces) to create textures for my background. I did structure paste as well to add variation. Then I started to cut different kind of papers that match the color Beige to create my own banners. Once I'm done... I glued everything, sewed them together and altered the paper with Rangers Ink - Tea Dye, Walnut Stain.
I splattered some Lindy's Stamp Gang - Cape Cod Coral, Clam Bake Beige and some black ink for some messy look. Well, thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!! Sending you all the hugs, Merry.

LOL

Dear all,
it's April!!!! It means a new challenge coming up at 123 Challenge Blog with the moodboard below..
And my layout....
Simple basic like normally I did.... I did some gesso on my white paper. I sprayed them with Dylusions Ink Spray - Cherry Pie. I cut the leaves with Silhouette SD. I colored my chipboard first with black acrylic ink.
And then I gave more details for the chipboards, the flowers and the background with other colors using Cosmic Shimmer H2O - Rose Hue, Tropic Violet, Pearlescent and Yellow Sun. To add a little bit more sparkling, I've used Inka Gold from Viva Decor - Magenta, Violet and Yellow Gold.
Hope you enjoy it... thanks for stopping by... hugs, Merry.

See

Hi all,
how are you all this time? Hope you are all great, if not, here's to lighten up your day, "Remember, you're the one who can feel the world with sunshine...." And here's the new challenge from 123 Challenge Blog.
And here's my layout
I started with white paper. Made the paper ready with gesso. I started to spray it with Dylusions Ink Spray - Vibrant Turquoise. Once dried, I covered my paper once again with gesso to lighten the color a little bit. Then I stamped Kaisercraft - Bubble Wrap with Versa Mark all over my page to create some texture and embossed them with Tsukineko - Pale Yellow(not really sure what color it was as the bottle was in Japanese, lol). I prepared all my embellishments such as chipboards, filigree, plastic canvas for sewing and layers of papers behind the photo and started to gesso all of them.
Once dried, I started to rearranged what goes where and splattered more colors.  I used Lindy's Stamp Gang - C'est la vie Cerise, Merci Beaucoup Mint, Clam Bake Beige and Bodacious Blush. I didn't do the splatters in one time, each and every colors I did it step-by-step. Once the Mint was dried, I did the Beige, once the Beige dried I did the Bodacious and so on. It took more than a couple of splatters to get to the colors that I really wanted. But once I did, I glued them all. I added some metal string and sequins to add a bit more details to my layout. Once done I stamped using Just 'Rite' stamp the journal which said,"Be the chance you wish to see in the world." Once done, I thought that my layout need a little bit more contrast, so I decided to splatter more black ink on the paper. I mixed a drop of black acrylic ink with lots of water, and I brushed it behind the layers of papers to add darker accent to the photo.
Hope you like what you see and enjoy my layout this time. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a fabulous time...! Hugs, Merry

Duo Love

Hi all,
time really getting too fast. Can't believe it's February by now. What have you done in January? Mine was quiet. A little bit snow here in Germany but not as much as two years ago. Anyway, here's another challenge from 123 Challenge Blog - February Challenge
We have two generous sponsors this month - Scrapping Life and Scrapbook Fantasies:

Please check our rules (here), especially our modified multiple challenges information.  We would also like to remind you to ensure that when entering your layout that you link to your actual Blog Post (or Image Gallery page), and include your Name and Country.
Here's my layout for that....
I thought I make it simple this time..... Started with white paper plus gesso. Sprayed the paper with Dylusions Ink Spray - Postbox Red, Lemon Zest and London Blue. Once dried, I used Kaiser Craft Stamp - Film Edges and started stamping behind the photo, used Finnabair -Vintage Vanitiy No. 4 and stamped the background. The title "LOVE" is our chipboard. I colored it black and added Stickles - Midnight Blue and finished with Glossy Accent. I added a few details by splattering the colors from blue, red and yellow from the sprays around the background to create a messy kinda look. I stamped duo in two different colors then I used Perfect Pearl - Ocean Blue and Rouge to highlight them. I hope you enjoy what I made. And as February quite identical with the month of love, have a month full of love everyone!!! Hugs, Merry.

Appreciate Every Little Thing

Happy New Year everyone!!!
I wish all of you had a wonderful holiday and beautiful new start. I had a great holiday... was short but great at least... :) Well, here's another challenge from 123 Challenge Blog
Here's my layout to that....
I love yellow, but to my suprise, I don't have any paper in yellow. Well, since last year, I decided, I shouldn't buy any more paper before I really dig in my stash. That's why I decided to use white paper.
I love Dylusion Ink Sprays. It's very easy to use. I've used Lemon Zest and Black Marble to create the background color. Our chipboards, I like it simple when I colored them black and then rubbed them with some Inka Gold - Gold to match the color Zitrone.
With the technique Folding, I decided I create a banner for the word "Appreciate" and I fold it like the picture above. Last but not least I used H2O from Cosmic Shimmer to create splatter for my background, they are Black Pearl, Orange Gold and Yellow Sun.
I would also like to include this layout for the Off The Rails Scrapbooking Challenge with the moodboard below....
Thank you again for stopping by to see my creation...
Hugs, Merry
