Grateful for everything

Hello dear,

Even today wasn't that beautiful but would love to be grateful for everything. I made this layout actually for my teacher's son. She has help my son through a lot of things. The school is almost over and would like to say thank you to her. So here's the layout to it.

more details...

First thing first, I did a lot of gesso for the background.
Then I colored it with Pool Martha Stewart Acrylic Craft Paint and sprayed it with Fresh Lime Dylussion Ink Spray. I wasn't really happy with the result, so I did some gesso all over again and sprayed it with the same color then finally I got the right shade that I wanted.
I made a tree using a hot glue gun (inspired from Gabrielle Pollacco), and colored it with Acorn Martha Stewart Acrylic Craft Paint. For the grass, I did it with green and gold Acrylic Paint using a used credit card to make a really straight line.

I would like to join this layout for Off The Rail Scrapbooking for the theme "Up, Up and Away"

Thank you Off The Rail Scrapbooking for the challenge.

Hugs,

 Linda.

Love My Baby Girl

Hi all,

here's my new layout

with more details...

This time I'm using my old stuffs that I haven't touched for almost 3-4 years.
The paper is from My Mind's Eye "Lush" (my favorite) and so is the chipboard "love" which is a kit I got together with the paper. Since the paper was not really black and I want to make it a little bit more dramatic black, I distressed it with Archival Ink Jet Black. Then I added some gesso to make my centre come out. At the end I sprayed it with Cut Grass Dylusions Ink.
I always love Inka Gold, so to make a better look, I rubbed on the Inka Gold.
3 years ago, I joined a class from Donna Downey. I got a lot of left over, which at the end was inside my box. I never thought I would use them until the day I made this layout.
The big lime green flower and some die cut sticker made from felt that were the left over,
and made my centre even more come out.
After I arranged my layout, and I satisfied with it, I splattered some white ink and to fill the empty space I added Pearl Pen from Viva Decor (it's also been laying for a while in my box, bought it long time ago, not even I knew when) to make more details onto the layout.

I'm following this layout for Sketchabilities with the Sketch No. 117

I would like to join Kreative Koncepts as well with the colour theme below
Scrap Africa Challenge No. 30 to Scrap Our Stash

with the mood board below from Scrap Around The World, I decided to use the word "LOVE" to join their challenge and of course lots and lots of flowers.

Thank you Sketchabilities, Kreative Koncepts, Scrap Africa and Scrap Around The World for the challenge.

Hugs,

Merry

I do

Hello scrappers,

here's my new layout...
I tried to scrap my wedding picture, which I should've done it years ago. Well at least this time I did it. I've been trying to find a perfect words to the picture and I thought "I do" would be nice. After I did a layout, I found a missing gap on the right side of the picture so I decided to fill in some sentiment to it.
Finally, after browsing and googling for a while, I found the saying: "I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you." And I thought would be a perfect match for the title, and also a perfect match to describe what I felt that day.
Here are more details...
It turned out that I don't have really a blue color paper. Pretty strange ( I know ). As much as I love blue  for my clothes, but I couldn't find any for this time challenge. So I used a simple plain broken white paper. The best thing about plain paper is that, you could create your own background.
So I did a lot of stamping with my favorite Prima Marketing "Finnabair" Vintage Vanity No.4 and check motive from Artemio Clear Stamp. Then I sprayed it with Primary Elements Artist Pigment. This time I used Blue Bayou, then I mixed it with Maya Gold Acrylic Paint Magenta. I added some Gesso to add another extra touch to my background and finally I rubbed on Inka Gold Apricot to match the color scheme. For the flower I used twinkling H2O and for the leaves I colored it with silver acrylic paint.
I did Stickles Ice Spruce on top of the flowers to add glitter effects.

This layout I made for joining a challenge from CSI Color Stories Inspiration with Case File No. S365-6 a Special Case File for Scrap365 with a mood board below.
for Cherish This - Memories For Life with a condition that I have to use at least three of my favorite thing. My favorite things that I used are Gesso, Prima Marketing "Finnabair" Vintage Vanity No.4, Primary Elements Artist Pigment, Inka Gold from Viva Decor, Flowers, and Stickles.
and last challenge is for Let's Get Sketchy with the sketch below.
Thank you CSI, Cherish This and Let's Get Sketchy for this challenge.
Hugs, Merry

for the back layers I did a lot of stamping and distressing.
For the other layers I did a lot of misting with gesso,
then again I applied a lot of stamping to match the background layer
